A round-up of the usual smaller-sized suspects. I included the Blade-Tech Wegner Pro-Hunter folder (a wonderfully ergo knife in S30V :) )because I seem to be having some trouble finding a folder from Busse to hang out with these other diminutive beasts. ;) :p FWIW, the AD is easily the sharpest of the fixed blades in the pic. Too bad I can't bring myself to use it. :( The little $#!t bit my finger on its way to the scanner, so I think it's feeling grumpy about all that time it spends in the safe.

BOY! Add the BA and you would have all my favorite mini's! I see you like to 'love' your B5 also. The only Basic I kept. Perfect in every way.

Wet, you mean one like this? ;) :D

Yeah, that Basic 5 has seen a bit of use on the range (using the spine to bang down the ears on cheap rifle mags that start double-feeding rounds), working in the yard, and pulling kitchen duty. For as much as it got used, it should look a whole lot worse.

The current kitchen war-horse is the Howling Rat, which I gave to my wife with instructions to "use it as hard as you like, just don't put it in the dishwasher." She's not very hesitant to use a knife on bone or frozen items. She's not inclined to sharpen it or clean gunk off of it right away either. So I figure she'll be a pretty good person to check it for edge retention and corrosion. So far, she seems to like the knife okay, it takes only light patina, and I can undo any damage she's inflicted so far with a few swipes on the Spyderco Sharpmaker. Note in the pic that it still looks pretty pristine, which is wholly undeserved. ;)

Just got the INFIcoot and haven't yet decided whether it'll get a pair of OkuPants to wear or not. Overall, I really like it. It has a handy size blade for a smaller knife, nice big choil, one of those Res-C handles I like so much, subdued neutral colors :D , and the usual Busse/Rat warranty.

Ah yes...the BA-E. That knife will be in our hearts for eternity :)

Is it possible Jerry found Badger perfection and sailed right past it? ;)

DN

Allmost. Badger perfection (to me) would be my Fat SHBA in infi just like the A2 version. Love those 4~5" blades.

DN, That's gotta HURT!! Don't be puttin' no Badger in my heart - that makes my EKG look all funny and flat-lined. ;)

Wet, I think a 3/8" straight Badger Attack would be great :D

Rok, yep you're right I don't think Busses have a very good effect on EKG printouts, lol ;)

DN must be right.........I cannot get one to surface anywhere. I see less of those around than anything else.

Nice blades Rokjok. I see that you are well equiped for anything that may come you way.

I think that the BA3 is near perfection for my user of this size. Especially since I put a satin finish on it, it's fantastic.

Sweet! Can you take some pics? Never seen a BA3 in satin.

Sure, I'll give a shot. You'll have to post them for me though. It still has the pits from the factory in it around the edges, but I can see my reflection in it.

You got it. Just email them to me and I'll throw them up.
