Which would you guys favour in terms of working with PC's, the Wave and Adapter or one of the Victorinox Cybertools. I suppose the Vic's are more compact and easier to carry, although the Wave's tool array must swing the balance. What are your thoughts ? Thanks.

I have used both on PC's and servers and I think that the Cybertool is probably the better all around choice. The Wave is a good tool but using the blade with the adapter in place is not a good idea. Also, I find the extra length on the driver on the Cybertool handy for screws that are recessed in narrow spaces. (Just don't drop them.) There are also three types of Cybertools. One with no pliers or scissors, one with pliers and scissors and one with pliers, scissors, saw and file. I usually carry the fully loaded one because I do occasionally use the file to make minor adjustments to stubborn parts.;)

One other thing though...if you camp or hunt as well and can only afford one tool it probably makes more sense to get the Wave.

I agree that the CyberTool is a better choice for working on computers. Victorinox really got everything right!

Just thought I'd note that there is one more CyberTool model than most people know about... In Europe the SwissChamp XLT is apparently sold under the name CyberTool XL. :)

I actually carry both a Wave and a Cybertool 29. I would take the Cybertool-29 over the bit driver, if for no other reason, it is quicker to deploy.

I also like the C-29 for the tools that the Wave does not have (pen, pin, toothpick, corkscrew) or that are not as good (can opener).

Yeah, let us know how you like it. With the Wave, this is my favourite gadget. Just too damn useful!

Am thinking about grinding the key ring loop off of mine to make it more comfortable when really torquing the tool...
