Does anyone know what size the torx bit is for the Wave, i found a few places online where u can get em without a form but i need to know the size. I thought i read t-twenty something or something, anyone know??? And yes i found the 5 prong variety!

If the sizes are the same as the six point torx then it is a t-10. Hope this is some help.

yeah that looks to be it now when i look through my regular torx bits. SK tools makes em. Try SKT84231 in a search engine. None of the sites for the SK brand require info. I believe i seen Snap-on makes them to but cost a lot more. The way i can find em is in a whole set for like 80 bucks but since my brother goes on all the tool trucks all the time since hes a mechanic im guessing he can get me the single bit.

let us know if you have any luck. i know i want some of those!
*edit: sounds like #10 is agood place to start.

It would seem a real shame to have to send a Wave back to Leatherman just to have a pivot tightened! (I hate sending a Zippo lighter back to Bradford, PA just to have a hinge pin replaced!)

Note that depending on how the pivots are designed, you might need two to tighten them properly.

Very true,i was planning on getting two anyways and if i only need one i'll sell one to one of you guys for the same price i bought it if someone wants it. I just hope i can buy just one outta the set.

http://www.etoolcart.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=4968 but i figure i can, it should be just like any other set of tools. Im guessing it'll be 10 dollars a bit though.

Thanks for the link. If you would let me know which of those sizes fits so I can order one myself. I'm eager to try it now that I know that its possible to get the torx bit. I was wondering if you replace the bit driver on the Wave with the phillips head bit would there be enough room left to fit in a flat head screwdriver or would the phillips head be all that could fit in there?
