Just got this neat multi-tool today. I'm breaking it in now, it's pretty tight. Right away I found two uses for it, pliers for cutting aluminum wire at my rain gage and the saw to remove a few dead sunflowers.

I may want to install a clip, if I get one, how does it install?

Goes into a slot in the smaller end of the handles, held in place and released by the same lock that holds the blades and other implements. Very nicely done, IMHO, worth having.
 
Pretty handy, literally takes two seconds to install. Had come in handy a few times when I wanted my Wave but a belt sheath was a no go.
