wave wear?

I just picked up a Journeyman at Blade show. It looks like a well made all arounder. Just a thought, have you noticed that after using your Emerson Wave equipped knives for an extended period that you have excessive wear of the pocket where the wave feature catches your pants pocket?

I wear jeans too and have noticed the wear pattern after an extended period of time. However, I like the "worn look." If you don't care for the wearing-down of the pants fabric then just remember that you don't have to deploy the knife with the wave feature.

My jeans are more torn up from the jagged g10 on my Emersons... The inside threads of the pocket where the clip slides are the first to go. Haven't noticed much wear from the actual wave tho.

- Same here. The G10 is much rougher on fabric than the Wave is.

No so much an issue any longer as I have framelock conversions.

This is why I wear Levi Carpenters. Pants are easier to replace than blades.
