Waved a Tatanka

Interesting, to me I don't like it at all. Too long and narrow of a blade. Can't wait to see you do it in real life.

Definitely a "sticking" knife...

Maybe... but you'd have to drill and tap for tip up carry.

In my experience you really don't need to remove so much material laterally. Just 3/8" to nothing in front of the hole. If that makes sense. If it gets hung up in the pocket just take a little more off.

I've tried that... I don't want anything in front of the hook.

BladeHQ just notified me... I will have mine early next week.

I checked one of these out today at my local knife shop, and man is it a beast! Made the Millie in my pocket feel more like a Dragonfly. I even mentioned to the worker at the shop that it would be an interesting knife to wave, can't wait to see your wavemod CM!

CM, your video earlier today of you showing off the work you did on this knife made my day.
I've had your voice saying "oh, hey Mr. Bob!" All day long.
Your posts throughout my short time here are always enjoyed. Your sense of humor and passion for doing things your way remind me I'm in the right place. Just creeping here in your thread hanging out.

Glad you like my work and cats!

That's actually pretty sick. Looks like it waved better than some Emerson's. Nicely done.

That is quite impressive. I was skeptical about this plan at first...

I'm not into waved knives, or even knives the size of the Tatanka, but thats a brave mod and I am surprised to see how well it works. Well done.

Due to the stiffness of the knife, the wave is the most effective way to get it open.

wow .. i am still waiting for a chance to have the tatanka in my hand but here i am seeing you doing that mod to it. you rocks!!!
