I like emersons and benchmade, wish they would do a calberation . I think the 908 would be perfect for the wave. Well I have a few 908's so I waved one. 1414146930449.jpg works good very smooth.

Looks pretty good. Did you have to reposition the thumb stud? With a wave mod, the stud is probably not needed, but it does add to the look of the knife.

I'm sure the wave works perfect with the axis lock. The detent with the axis is quite smooth, so deployment should be quite fluid. Any trouble with the wave working too well and opening when not expected?

It works very well , opens with the wave when I need it and if I don't need it I can just pull it out and use the thumb stud. I really like it. I used 308l stainless steel for the wave , the heat affected zone was very small. I don't think I affected the blade hardness at all. Keep the weld zone as cool as possible.

Did you weld the Wave or is it attached to the opposite thumbstud? I can't tell from the picture.

How well does the welded wave wave open brewskies? That's always a good test of a waved knife's abilities IMO.
