so i just recently picked up a factory waved endura off ebay. it's totally fugly, totally utilitarian, and everything i've come to expect from spyderco. ;)

one question though... why the blue FRN and beadblasted clip? i would have much, much, MUCH rather had it in the traditional black w/ black clip.

is spyderco planning on doing any more of these runs in the future? cause a waved, black delica/native sure would make me happy. :D:D:D

I think the Native would be a little too small for a wave to be functional. When I draw the knife, my middle finger just about instantly makes contact with the balde before the entirety of the clip is off my pocket.

That could of course be just my natural way of drawing, or my pockets or anything. A waved Native may work for some one, but I think the larger knives are more suited to the wave.

If your not happy with it, I'll find a good home for it:cool:
I love my colored Spydies, my burgundy Caly, my Yellow Salt, and hopefully without to much more delay I can add a blue Delica ZDP to that. I dunno about the black waved Enduras, though, I've seen a custom one by a guy over at the Spyderco website forums.

This is interesting. The waved Endura is supposed to be grey as originally specd. I pulled mine out ..., which I've thought of as nothing but grey, and under some of the lights here ... I could see a very subtle blue.. go figure.

Razz

Im praying that the new version waved enduras will have the black handles. That will be awesome..:)

I vaguely remember Sal mentioning that they'll do different colors with future waved enduras ... perhaps to increase collector value for the originals.
