WHY DOES IT NOT EXIST? This would seriously be the best knife ever. Does anyone know why it's not made and/or if it ever will be? Also, any suggestions on improvising? I don't want to modify the actual blade, and zip ties break too often for me. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Not owning a Manix I can't speak from experience about ease of opening but I do agree with wired beans here.
While I do love the wave opener, not all knife blades need them or should have them. I think the Manix, Native and Sage series leaf blades are just fine without them.
I will challenge the OP though, to sketch those blades out with a wave feature and post them here so we can see what he sees. Personally I don't see the wave as a viable feature in those series I listed above. But I could be wrong.

I support this, though I want the XL to be waved. Of course, a zip tie has worked fine for me for a long time now.
