I have always liked ZT's and I have always liked knives with "wave" openers.... I contacted CharlieMike to have some "wave" mods cut into two of my knives, my 200 and my 561. I couldn't be happier and both function a lot better. I use my 200 as one of my duty knives, I wear it in my left front pocket and it opens 100% every time. The 561 is an off-duty knife I carry in the front left pocket as well. The 200 replaced an endura emerson opener and feels much more solid. Here are some pics!

Nice! I really like the 0200. How much does that mod run approximately? I might send mine out one day!

If you like 'em, that's what matters.

Don't really care for how they look, but their function is much better for what I use them for. Having my knife open immediately when I take it out of my pocket is something that is important to me. If we could carry fixed blades that's what I'd use :)

Sometimes utility outweights aesthetics. Personally, I don't find them to take much away from the knife. Glad you like them :)

I've played with them a few times... (Buddy of mine has a few different brand though). My biggest fear is deploying when I don't want to, but just want to get it out of my pocket quickly.

I like the look of the 200 a little more than the 561. But hey, as long as they do what you need them to do, that's all that matters.

You just pull straight up instead of back so the hook doesn't catch
