Did anyone ever try to wave a 550 or a 560.If you have any pictures that would be great.

Good Lord, those pictures made me die a little bit inside... That's just me, though. A knife is a tool, and a tool should optimize utility for its user. If that's what works best for you, I can't judge.

Why would anyone want to wreck a perfectly good flipper that way?
Seem familiar?

Though CM did wave a 0301 a while back.

I saw a waved 0301 in a youtube video, I know some people like it. But I have to say its one of the ugliest knives I have ever seen. Id be embarrassed to be seen with it. But some how, beyond my understanding and ability to comprehend, people actually like them:confused:
I am a Man Against the Molestation of Knives!

Though I generally leave mine alone, I've been toying with a crazy idea for a regrind on my 0350:D

I'm all for a krein regrind! ... On most knives. If I saw a dlc tilt modded Id be calling up the MAMKs!

I never understood regrinds. To be honest, most factory grinds perform fine - the only thing that may need changing is reprofiling of the edge bevels and some stropping.

With the exception of folding prybars, but it's much more practical to get a knife that's actually ground to fit the task.

I tend to agree with this, however if you find a knife that is perfect in every way and you like it except for the blade grind or geometry, I can see doing it. I would never do this with most knives, but one place I personally would do it is the zt 0350 for example. I lucked out with the 360skd being made before and we are looking to get it produced again! I like the pointier tip and the added plus of a glass breaker.
Not sure if this is a great example but it is my example of how it works for me! If there wasn't a possibility for it being made, I would have to pay a pimper or do it myself!

Oh, it's not a Krein regrind:D I'd actually be changing the blade profile, if I decide to actually do it.

I wouldn't touch a rare or limited production blade, I'm not that crazy. My 0350 is a blem anyways:thumbup:

Found this in a review of the 360 skd. I was intrigued too, because I didn't remember seeing anything that looked like a glassbreaker (I'm too used to the larger ones on the HEST and Microtech OTFs), nor did the tang have one like the Umnumzaan.

To be fair, it is really small - and to be honest I don't think that really aids its usability for its intended purpose.
