IIRC, elvis.alive sent me a suggestion on waving this guy. I thought I'd seen all the 2011 models, but then again, I just found out about the G10 Espadas. So I look at the close ups and it looks like a very cool idea. Maybe the next iteration of the Somethin Nasty D/E Police. It would be quite easy, using the thumb stud hole as the inner curve for a wave hook.

I'd also add a lanyard, most easily done by tying 550 around the bend in the pocket clip. With such a small amount of handle exposed, a laynard needs to be there to enhance the draw grip.

CM,

Would this make it possible to only open by waving, or could you thumb open by the hook? Sometimes it is nice to open a waved blade slowly, after it is out of the pocket, which is why I am curious.

I have no problems at all opening a waved only knife by thumbing the hook.

I also like how much the handle covers of a folded blade. Making this double edge would be a cinch.

PS... I don't live too far from you. Anything ever brings you by, bring some knives that need modding.
