Well, I just received my 2001 Commander in the mail a few hours ago......

But, it took a couple of hours to set the knife up to my liking. I disengaged the "second" detent completely because the freaking thing was pushing the blade into the liner (the pivot bolt seemed to have FOOT-lbs. of torque on it in order to stay centered)

I then discovered that the liner ball does not match into the blade detent. This is not big deal for me ( If anyone has any feelings about this-please feel free to drop me a line) since I set up the pivot with copius amounts of friction anyway. Lock-tite will be used after break-in period.

I would like to thank all of the suspects in here for the info posted concerning "problems" and misc encountered with their knives.

Oh, by the way.....YEAAAAAAAH HAAAAAAAAA!
p.s. 2001 Commander BT, ser # 1924:) :)
