WAY off topic: 1/6th scale action figures

With all of the varied interests represented on here I was curious if anyone collects 1/6th scale action figures?

My kid does. Mostly Star Wars. Although I give them a good inspection sometimes.

I don't collect them, but many years ago I bought a bunch of the Monty Python and the Holy Grail figures. They're still in their original boxes in the garage somewhere, no doubt worth a fracton of what I paid new (except the "Knight Who Says Ni!", which used to fetch a pretty good price on eBay).

I don't collect figs. Even if I tried I could never keep them in the original packaging and never find the space in my apartment. I've seen pics of some crazy awesome Square Enix toys. Is that the kind of thing you're talking about?

Also this tread kind of makes me think an "Other Hobby" thread would be fun...not to hijack this one.

Had to look up what square enix was. Not quite figures but just about 3" total length or something like that but everything on it to be real and combat ready lol!

I'm thinking Soldier Story, DAM Toys, etc. Some of the 12 inch figures are extremely lifelike and the detailing on the equipment is amazing. I don't have any but have been toying with the idea of getting one to set on my gun safe or something. Maybe this Navy Seal:
