I heard that due to his extensive plastic surgery that they were going to melt him into Lego's so that kids would have a chance to play with him for a change. ;)

Karma is a real biatch... :) (HeeeHeeeeeeee... with a no sympathy moonwalk....)

on one hand he did a lot of obvious weirdo stuff to get the crazy attention with the media, and put himself in a lot of obviously compromising situation. I have little sympathy for people who live in mansions and end up in debt, and not a whole lot of sympathy for guys who are surprised by lawsuits after sleeping in the same bed with kids who aren't theirs and have no blood relations (or do), especially when your super-rich.

on the other hand
-he was obviously extremely ill, and had been degrading for years
-while his actions were highly suspect, if he didn't commit the things charged against him he had to live a life that would drive anyone insane
-he has 3 kids. I don't care what the circumstances, losing a (non-abusive) father is terrible.
-I almost don't want to judge him for his debt issues because of his obvious lack of social comprehension. it really seemed like, while he was intelligent, he needed a care taker to do his bussiness for him and he failed to gain one.

just remember - this isn't /b/, this isn't whine and cheese, and this certainly isn't pirates cove. I understand the comedy, and some of it is genuinely ironic and funny, but it walks a very fine line.

The tragedy is not his death - but his life. Its a sad story.

May he rest in peace.

I have a lot of insight into my 90-something mother and she's still a bit of a mystery to me. Trying to figure out a media feeding frenzy like Michael Jackson is out of my league. Good luck with that.

I've always felt sorry for MJ. The guy was eccentric to the extreme, he sacrificed himself for his career and he had no coping mechanism to deal with his lost personal life throughout his childhood. I don't think he understood how the things he did appeared to the outside observers.

I don't know for sure what he did behind closed doors, but the joy he has brought to countless millions through his music has got to be worth something.

I hope he finds the peace in death he had such a difficult time attaining in life.

I'm lockin' this down before it takes off and can't be stopped!!!!

Back to knives and booze. . . ..

Jerry :D
