Way OT, new Dad this morning!

Hey all,
Daughter Lea Marie arrived at 5.50 am this morning, 8.5 lbs, 20 inches. Mother and child are both healthy and happy, no complications.
Mom's been on total bedrest for the last eight weeks which has kind of cut into knifemaking time since we have a five year old also. Haven't been posting at all, though I have been reading every few days. I'm sure it will be a while before I will have the kind of time I would like to devote to blades.
Untill then I will just try to get a little done here and there and continue look on in admiration at the fine work everyone here is doing.

Now here's something: Lea is my daughter's name too. Kind of a nice feeling to read your daughter's name this evening. :D

Rick, Congratulations! Beautiful name,too! Now, have 2 boys and even out the numbers! Shop elves. Ain't they just great? I am glad momma and rest of your family is doing great,too.
 
Cograts!!! That is the greatest thing in the world, beleive me. Tess and I had our first (Danny) about 10 months ago and I know he is the best thing I've ever (and probably will ever) been a part of. Enjoy and give mom a hug from all of us.
 
Congradulations! Laura and I are just starting that journey so I am trying to get as much work done while I still have some free time......
