I've had my large regular Sebenza for a few weeks now and I think it's becoming broke in. It has a stainless Damascus blade with anodized scene, pearl cabochon, duel silver thumb studs, and a swedge. An outstanding looking piece. Of course at first I didn't want to use it to any extent. But I took the dive and have been using it quite a bit. I'm very impressed with the edge holding ability of the SS Damascus. I haven't had to sharpen it yet and have been cutting everything from food to wood. I've noticed(and I have to look real close to see it)some small scratches in the blade. Oh, well these knives are meant to be used, and used this one will be. I'm not so concerned with scratching the blade as the handle. I really like the design on it and want to keep it scratch free. If it gets too banged up, maybe the CR factory could fix it up. In the mean time this knife will be my constant carry buddy. Anybody out there carry only a large decorated regular Sebenza? :)

Sounds like a beauty you got there. I have decided that if, or I should say "when", I get a Sebenza, it will be one of the fancy decorated ones. I like having a knife that I enjoy looking at as much as I enjoy using it. The plain versions don't meet one of those criteria. I will eventually buy a classic woodie, or a decorated with damascus blade, but not right now. Can you post a pic of your knife? I would love to see it.

It's not damascus, but I carry a small decorated (2 High Mix). This is my new carry buddy. I was going to baby her and carry a beater but I think I'm just going to put her through all of my cutting trials :D
