Howdy,
I find some threads are worth re-reading, sometimes a couple of years after being posted (well 1.5 years actually, since that is how long I have been hanging here). I usually remember enough about the thread that I can find it in a search. And sometimes I save threads as "Web Archive" files on my hard drive. Today I was re-reading a post that Phil Wilson wrote in 2006 about blade testing with manila rope. I'm doing some similar testing and I wanted to refresh my memory about how he did his. But in finding his post I thought of a question.

Is there a way that I could mark uber posts in my user CP so that I could pull up a list of the best reference threads? If there isn't, no problem. What I am doing works. I'm just looking to see if an easier way exists. Also, it would cut down the number of searches I run, which would lessen the load on the server. It's not a lot, but every bit helps.

Thanks,

It is called Thread Tools, subscribe to the thread, you will be notified of changes as you have set up in the user control panel. Or save them as favorites or bookmark them in your browser.

Exactly as James has suggested. Make yourself a bookmark folder in your browser and call it something like Bladeforums then, when you're reading something interesting, simply add that page to your bookmarks. Now you've got them until you delete them.

Click on "Thread Tools" at the top of the thread and subscribe to the thread. Later you can go to your User Control Panel and click "List Subscriptions" to find them whether they have new posts or not.
