Hi all-
Just received my lmtd. edition Goddard C18 today in the mail. Very cool! It's got the plain edge, micarta handles, and came with a neat little zipper pouch. As well as having the typical Spyderco number (532) stamped on the blade, Wayne also engraved his initials behind the thumb hole with the number 432.
I also received a C16PS on a trade yesterday. I like it a lot, especially the micarta handles. They look great, and the shape lends a good grip. But man is it a big knife! I think the Jr. is "just right". Plus I like the plain edge over the serrated.
The Goddards also included a listing of the Clipits they have in stock. For those after a plain edge, you can get the lmtd. edition Jr. or the C16 lightweight in plain edge from them as well. Other than those kind of unique Goddards, they do have the full size and baby micarta versions, too.
I'm real happy with this one, for being extremely functional and well made, plus it's special thanks to the Goddards. Great people to deal with, very friendly. If you're so inclined give 'em a call.
