is it easy to place an order with him? after reading all the post about his long backlong, incommunicado status et al, I'm worried. I would really want to get one of his semi-skinners with a guard (I think model 13.

I can't call him from Singapore because it's cost prohibitive. but if email isn't reliable....???

can someone help me to get a wayne hendrix knife please? I would like a model 13, 7, 8 or even 11 (in order of preference).

I wonder if anyone on the forums can help me out by conveying my order to Mr Hendrix - calls are really expensive, and it's more difficult to state the proper address and details over the phone. I can be contacted via email. just hoping here....I really like his model #13 in cocobolo. It's my ideal daily carry.

Wish I could help you, but I placed an order over two years ago for a couple of guardless, micarta handled semi skinners. I am still waiting.

I had tryed for years to get in contact with Wayne and never succeeded. Finally picked a few up at Blade this year, where there was literally dozens to choose from. Wayne probably finds it as easy to make and sell through the show circuit than mess around doing custom orders.

Maybe that's the holdup. I want mine to be ground from A2 tool steel, which he told me was no problem.

I'd really appreciate it - my choice of handle would be wood or ivory micarta. please help a newbie knifeknut - Wayne's knives are one of the first non-tacticals that I really like and can afford.
