Wayne Whittaker knives

Hello--
Is anyone familiar with the work of Wayne Whittaker?

I am considering buying one of his knives but I have not been able to find much information or feedback about him on this board.

If anyone owns or has handled his knives, I would appreciate any of your thoughts or comments. I am pretty new to the world of custom knives and could use the guidance. Thanks again.
 
I own several of Wayne's knives. Most are fixed blade hunters but I do have one of his folders. I bought my first knife from Wayne in "99". Except for the first knife, everything I've purchsed since was custom made for me.

He makes a top quality knife for a very reasonable price. Works almost exclusively in 01.

He's easy to work with and like most makers just a darn nice guy.

I'm including a photo of the folder as an example of his workmanship.

One of my first customs was a knife by Bobby Toole: a Wayne Whittaker protege/student. I've moved it onward, but the construction and quality was very good. I see the same styling and embellishments from Wayne on his versions.

Let us know more when you do, please?
