Does anyone have pics of the reclaimed ebony from an old factory that Charlie got for his 15s? I'd like to show a friend at work who is a woodworker and gave me some nice bubinga for knife handles. Thanks!

I don't remember this. Can you elaborate? Which knives was it used on? The diamond harness and radio jack, maybe?

IIRC, the JBF Champlin knives also used wood that was salvaged from the old Cattaraugus building.

I'm not aware of knives with reclaimed ebony.

Charlie did some knives with some old Walnut from his fathers old rifle ...if I remember correctly

The one on the top is the old walnut. Unfortunately not with me anymore, fortunately it went to a warm welcoming hands...
