Just wanted to post this and embarrass Charlie.

I sent him a dumpy harness jack for his collection awhile back. Lo and behold, a week or so later, a package came in the mail, with this inside:

Unfortunately, my camera doesn't pick up the nice color of what I think is blue bone.

I don't know much of this knife brand, other than Chris Tenney had some knives made through Queen for his Tenney Trading Co., similar to what other businessmen in the past have done.

Maybe Waynorth can elaborate on this a little more.

Again, thanks!

And suitably embarrased!!
Well, I guess this deserves some explanation. A few years back, I noticed these knives selling on Ebay for very low prices. They came in nicely finger-jointed boxes, and had Queen's quality behind them so I bought a bunch. Got to know Chris Tenney a little via email, then met him when I traveled back east for the bi-annual Queen show. Very nice gut, he worked as an industrial salesman I believe, and kept some reality in his life by doing great traditional woodwork. I now have some of his dovetailed boxes.
I haven't seen any more of his knives, so I'm assuming he gave up the project. I've given or traded most away, and will keep a couple for nostalgia.
Knives produced for the love of cutlery; and with a handmade box, obviously not for the money!

Glenn just sent me a knife out of the blue, so I got him back! To you others out there who have sent me parts and pieces, I'll get you too, so watch your back!!
