I got some WD40 on a sambar grip, and it discoloured it with yellow stains. Will this dry up and disappear by itself ? Is there anything that will seal the surface besides superglue - I really don't like the look of that.

P.K., I don't think it will go away, because it's soaked into the stag now. You could try a light sanding of the stag, with some very fine sandpaper and buffing it, that might take it out, depends on how deep the wd-40 has penetraded the stag. I use wd-40 on all of my stag handles, I sometimes soak the handles in the stuff, I also clean all the buffing compounds out of the stag with a stiff brush and wd-40. In my case by applying the wd-40 to the stag makes it look better. :D
