Are there any plans to offer more 1911 grips? I came across the dragon scale titanium ones and was highly impressed by them, but I think they neglected a couple things that are important to the typical 1911 owner.

For one thing, it should have a cutout for an ambidextrous safety. Most modern 1911's have this feature, and changing an ambi safety to a single sided one usually requires some fitting and is a more involved process than swapping out parts. I'd love to put the dragon scale grips on my Les Baer but I wouldn't be able to unless I figure out how to grind away some material or change the gun.

It would also be nice to have a thumb recess around the magazine release. This is another thing that's become standard for aftermarket 1911 grips, and really makes mag swaps more ergonomic.

Finally, I'd do away with the prominent logo in the middle of the grip. It disrupts the lines of the pattern, and generally 1911 owners don't like grip medallions unless it's of the brand that made the whole gun. Even brand name 1911 grips don't put their logos on the outside. They're still immediately recognizable by the patterns they use for the texturing, and We's dragon scale really is unlike anything else out there.

I could see We making really nice carbon fiber or G10 grips, too. Honestly, I think the quality of machining We shows blows the other 1911 grips out of the water, the design could just use a few tweaks to better serve the intended use.
