So like the title says, do you guys collect anything other than knives?

I posted this here because this is the place I am the most and figured people wouldn't mind.

If you guys don't want this here I guess you can delete it, I just thought it would be cool to see what people like besides knives.

I collect knives, coins, and zippos.

What do you collect?

Militaria artifacts, Civil War to WWII. Firearms, Ruger handguns and rifles, blackpowder, Winchesters. White with black trim graniteware. Anything over two pieces constitutes a collection, right?

I have a bayonet from WW1 my grandfather gave me. Its nice.

I'm interested in collecting any type of weapon ; swords ,spears , bayonets, tomahawks, etc, etc, I have a tiny collection of WW II firearms but it's a little more difficult to collect firearms in Canada than it is in the US. I also like to collect interesting canes, books on history, European beer mugs and beer glasses and ceramic statues [,ie, Frank Frazetta's stuff]
In fact I could probably get into collecting almost anything which is probably a bad character trait but a least the collection bug protects you against a gambling addiction as psychologically they are opposite mindsets.

More like accumulate things, guns, knives, vintage toys, movies, books, tools, motorcycles, cars, just about anything, I've even got a lighted 6 foot Citgo gas station sign.

I collect axes, first edition Ernest Hemingway and Charlie Russell books, as well as the King Ranch (Texas) written material.

I like to collect pictures of dead presidents. I have Washingtons, Lincolns, Hamiltons, and Jacksons but that is about it.:(

Flashlights, watches, archery bows, and other manly testosterone-filled items.

My wife on the other hand collects teddy bears and those glass curio-shelf type of globes that I affectionately refer to as "paper weights."

We're sort of the Yin and Yang of collecting. It keeps balance in the universe, not to mention in our household. ;)

Hope Grandpa told you all about it. Hving the artifacts is one thing, but knowing the story that they tell, makes them special.

Yes Dave, I do . Mostly maps and books . Scott thats a nice arrangement of spear and arrow heads . I also have a collection of coins and enjoy an assortment of sharpening stone . DM

I have a book case full of old beer mugs, but that's left over from an unhappier life...My only "collection" of anything is a dozen+ cigarette case lighters, mostly Ronsons, from the 40's...here's an example (from eBay, I think)...

My sisters hung around with Bell Aerospace pilots, engineers, unlimited hydroplane owners/drivers etc back in the 40's/50's (they're both way older than me) and their boyfriends had these...they used to let me play with them...In the 70's, I started collecting them...

The lighter is built into the top, and the case opens so you can stock it with cigarettes...Not many; 10 seems to be about average...

They were a neat thing to collect, back in the 80's/90's...but then the Internet and auction sites started up and the prices fell...Now, you can get a collection for cheap...and the Chinese are cloning them now, too... :(
