Now that's what I'm talking about!!! That would make a great patch or sticker.

I saw that bilboard yesterday and thought of Bladeforums when I saw it. IMO It looks like it would fit in great with the Esee or Becker crowd. LOL!

I agree that the billboard was in completely bad taste and completely stupid from a marketing standpoint. The saying has become cliche for describing devotion to something. In actuality, most were tricked, forced at gunpoint, or in the case of babies injected with the stuff. Insensitivity is one thing, thinking a joke about mass execution would make clever advertising is another in my opinion.

So pirate affiliation is better? ;)

Touche. I guess there's a more definitive split between fantasy and reality to me. Pirates have an idealized history in fiction separate from the truth and I suppose my experience with the former versus the latter weighs on my association. Jonestown, not so much. Maybe when they start making embellished cartoons of the Jonestown massacre with a heroic spin my association with the saying will change. Doubt it though. ;)

I think it's funny as shit. I could care less what the "background" is of the Koolaid Jonestown Cult.

If you're smart enough to join a cult that thinks mass suicide is a good idea, I can't help you. :D

He says that even as we are refining our koolaid mixture here for the big day!

ok, the moment i'm all in is when it reads:

WE'RE LIKE A CULT AND WE SHAVE OUR P***IES

...oh dear that's what the pink izulas are for!... :D

Lol, this is my hometown! I thought it was funny but lots of people got butt hurt over it. Thought of here when I saw it. :)
