Experiencing the Christmas letdown?

Consider our good fortune;

Do we have shelter ?
Do we have food ?
Do we have mobility ?
Do we have a job ?
Do we have love for family & friends ?
Do we recognise a Supreme Being ?

These 6 things should make for a good life .

Remember ,we have been promised the gift of everlasting life .

Good to remember when things get tough. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my family to yours.
 
I honestly try and remember those things every single day of the year. But a little memory jog is always welcome. Merry Christmas, Uncle Alan and knife knuts everywhere. :)

Hi, it's good to see that some of us still get what the holidays are about. How come people drive like complete A-holes during this season though? Too many angry NASCAR fans? Merry Christmas all
 
Uncle Alan: I totally agree with you! I make gratitutde list when I get to feeling funky, and THAT always puts things in proper perspective for me. I think and thank God, everyday for my daily gifts; like being able to wake up, walk talk, hear, speak. I have a lot of LOVE in my life, a wonderful home, family, friends, pets.... I am the richest woman in the world, because God loves me, my spouse, family , and friends love me, and I have the ability to LOVE them! LOVE is what makes me the richest woman on earth. Thaks for this thread UncleAlan!
