Hey guys,
We are moving, but thats only a chip of the story, we gotta do it by the end of the month  This whole house buying thing has been one messed up adventure, full of delays, setbacks, and re-signs. Now we still havent signed, but we do have the "clear to close"! By the time its all said and done, barring any more setbacks, we will have about a week to clean the new house and move out of our current one. :barf:

Long story short, I'll be a little bit busy (understatement ) from now till the first of September. Between the cleaning, painting, packing, moving, repairing, and still working on orders in there somewhere...... I will be a little slow to respond to e-mails, well, slower than normal :o and its looking like orders will fall a week or so farther behind. Good news is I will have an honest to goodness shop to work in!!! More room! More storage! More .......... eh well I hope to get more organized

Hope y'all dont get too upset with me in the next coupla weeks for not getting much out the door, but I promise that once the new shop is set up we will get streamlined in a big way, and a lot more organized (I hope ;) )

On a much more interesting stint, this whole house thing can still go all to heck and not even work out :grumpy: ah the joys of house buying and being self employed! in which case we will be moving north! DFW here we come!!!!! :D

Well at least you found a house, we have been looking for a house for 3yrs and still haven't found something that will work! The bad thing is all of the houses we didn't want 2 - 3yrs ago are now $200,000 more and I still don't want them!!! Have fun moving!

:D

it'll be ok, we're used to waiting a couple o weeks around here....

good luck with your move

Dwayne,

Good luck with the move.

Every time I’ve moved I’ve told myself to streamline my life (get rid of some of the clutter), but I just keep on packing and moving boxes.

Dwayne,

Are you sticking around San Antonio?

Hello Dwayne,
Congratulations and good luck with your new home.
I’m not worried about the delay with my order. It took me 62 years to get around to ordering it, so a bit longer won’t matter. :D
Ian. :D

What the heck, I have to wait for my orders? While you and yours move uptown? :D I think lessons in patience are the real reason we all meet here. :p So, waiting a little longer will only make me stonger, right? Seriously, I am very happy for you folks, and I hope you end up with what you want! We've been looking for about six months, and talk of the new NASCAR Speedway have made buying a home or property all but impossible. Again, the best of wishes!

If all works out for us we will remain here in San Antonio, its a sub division called Live Oak. Kind of a neiborhood of elderly houses with some great trees in places. We'll have one magnolia and two oaks in front and not a one in the back, the dog is gonna have a coniption! :o Whereabouts did you live Rick?

Ian, :D ;)

Mymindisamob, I've got one almost done and about to jump into working that funny looking fixed blade with the unexplainable handle. ;) :D is that one an A.S.S. as well? Doh! Just remembered the snap thing! :o mail incoming soon

Hey Randucci, sounds like us to a tee! lol! we get so fussy about a place were gonna have to live in for a good amount of time, the realator was getting that funky tick in the corner of his eye by the time we finally found this one. Only took a year! :p

715 Stadium Drive

If that's too obscure, I was attending Trinity University ('87, B. S. in Physics)

SA was surprisingly small _feeling_ for such a large city. It has grown immensely in the intervening years.

I found my (first one for me) house, closed, and was in within about 6 weeks!! Could'nt have been better me thinks, except for the $$$. Found a two car garage with a house attached  ! Even has a yard, I think....

Best of luck Dwayne...
.... and make sure Jerry and Co. has the correct address so my EU-17 mini gets to the right place!!! ;)

Good luck Dwayne! Being a construction guy, I've had to move many a time on very short notice and have a WEEK (or less) to find a place to live in a completely strange new area....sometimes across the country...........I've actually moved into an apartment that my admin manager found for me - sight unseen, but that was in my single days before wife and kid. Now it's even more of a challenge.

Good luck with the new place. :D :D

Congrats man! Just went through it and it sure was one of the most stressfull times of my life! Hope all works out for ya bro!

Dwayne, Hope you and all that moo-dex land in a spot that'll inspire your leatherwork to the next level. Looking forward to seeing more of your amazing workmanship from the new digs. Having a shop is a guy's birthright IMHO. ;)

We just moved a couple months ago. My current project is babysitting the permit process at the county so I can build behind the house a 30x30 shop plus RV parking bay (which I'll use for lumber storage). Momma loves the house, but Papa wants a shop. :D

Best of luck with the move.
