Barb and her brother and one of our daughters got everything set up for the Khukuri Khonvention last night. There's a 24' table under a canvas canopy to keep things out of the sun, as well as us.
Barb's cutting up veggies for a relish tray as I write this. There is home made salsa that will have some folks running home to momma, Uncle Bill won't be able to eat it, but Yangdu will, and haveing the die hards asking for more hot sauce.:D
There's plenty of charcoal and the 22" Weber will hold a s***load of ribs, so we're ready. Where the hayil are you guys???!!!???!!!???:D:D:D:D

And the weather is supposedly gonna cooperate with us, just a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms on Sunday, something you don't want to be playing with a khukuri in.;)
Things are looking up, now to choose which one(s) of the khukuris Uncle Bill sent that I want to keep here.;)

Got ya covered Bro!!!! There's a 12 pac to start with and we know where to get more. Merle's bringing a case of Genessee from Pennsylvania, 5% or better for the brave and adventureous.:)
There's gonna be plenty for everyone I think. The Polish side of Barb pops out when she gets to cooking, ifen ya know what I mean.;)
 
I'm ready. I packed the most important thing already -- my meds! I'll get to the less important stuff like clothes later this evening.
 
the doctor ordered for everyone. I can feel the excitment and anticipation reading everyones posts. I do sincerly wish I was going to be at Yvsa's with you all. Everyone will have to have a few extra beers and laughs for me. Have fun.
 
I've been officially and authoratatively taken off the suds, but down a couple of extra ribs for me :p
 
I'll take care of the beer and Terry will take care of the ribs. We've got everybody covered -- two or three times!!!

It's now 8:05 p.m. and everyone has eaten except Uncle Bill, he keeps saying after bit, but he's still drinking the Heineken.;)

And I'm off to eat another boneless beef rib with some of Barb's Great BBQ Sauce.:D

It's now 11:13 p.m. and the post never made it to the forum, doon't know what happened, but now we're headed for bed after Uncle Bill has drank all the Heineken we had here.:)
At least there will be new beer the next time they show up in Catoosa.;)

Had a great time with more expected tomorrow.:D

Sounds like you guy's are having a good time! Down some for me and have a safe trip home! Yvsa, those ribs sound great as does the BBQ sauce. If the salsa is hot then its right for me!

Actually I didn't really believe he drank all the ones he did.:)

Hawk and his wife brought some Shiner Bock. Much better beer IMO!!!!;)
