WE Banter thumb stud removal

I have been searching for any information on the removal of my WE Banter thumb studs before sharpening on my Wicked Edge. Does anyone know how they are fixed in place? If it is with red loctite I know I will need heat. Before I break out the tools I thought it best to post my question here.

I removed mine no issues. Just wanted to anodize it a different color. Edit* also, I always just zap any part with a solder iron prior to loosening. its a just in case situation. I don’t recall any issue. I didn’t have anything marred

I’ll probably do the same. I want to get it in my WE Pro for reprofiling tomorrow.
