Will be takin out the King 9 & the 7 to trim some brush.
We hunt strip mine hills that are choked up with autumn olive & smaller brush.

Hotter than Hades here too, in central Illy, haha. Was thinking of getting a small hike in at Carpenter Park this weekend.

Cmon guys--slicing deer sausage between poker hands at the clubhouse counts!

Saturday will consist of fixing a gate, pulling weeds, hauling furniture, going to a college football game tomorrow. Teller/usher at church Sunday, then football, BBQ and apple ale for the afternoon.

Gotta bring down some dead trees in my woods, and get some firewood for the firepit prepped. I usually have the most fires in the autumn and early winter, and I have no firewood at the moment.

My machax will be at my belt the entire time.... along with my axe and a good bowsaw.

I've used my new BK24 twice tonight to cut up pork chops. It's been in my pocket since last Friday.

5k to honor fallen soldiers this morning, mow grass this afternoon and watch Ohio State take on Va Tech this evening. Go Bucks!

Plan on taking the BK2, Ben & Duffy for another hike this morning. After sticking the BK2 in a couple of pieces of dead wood on the last hike, the "elephant snot" came off the point. Later when I was flicking it absently with my fingernail, some more chipped away. I began to understand better the guys who immediately want to strip their Beckers. :-(

Going on a 10 mile overnighter with my BSA troop today, should be fun! BK16 should be on my belt.

I have to finish putting a top end in a chainsaw and then my dad wants to go out to our hunting property (164 acres) and put up another tree stand, clear out firing lanes and places to put blinds, seems like the bk-9 will be busy

^^I've been seeing some does/fawns in the soybeans lately here in Illinois^^

See that it is!

Cookin' chicken on the grill along with pasta tonight. Children's worship help tomorrow morn', then off to the range with a new shooter/friend from work and my new CZ 9mm in the afternoon. Not much call for a Becker, but the 2 will be with me. It is my duty blade out & about.

Took my little glamour girl on a hike along some local trails.
She had a blast, but was bummed out that she didn't see any unicorns...:D

Hey guys! Made it back from my trip, tons of fun!!! My BK16 got LOTS of use, I didn't think we would be able to have a fire but we ended up having one anyway, and the 16 did all the wood processing.

Beautiful young lady . . . and nice hiking trails.

Take advantage of these opportunities while you can. They grow up WAY too quick.
