I was a fool to ever leave your side
Me minus you is such a lonely ride
The breakup we had has made me lonesome and sad
I realize I love you 'cause I want you bad, hey, hey

I spent the ev'ning with the radio
Regret the moment that I let you go
Our quarrel was such a way of learnin' so much
I know now that I love you 'cause I need your touch, hey, hey

Reunited and it feels so good
Reunited 'cause we understood
There's one perfect fit
And, sugar, this one is it
We both are so excited 'cause we're reunited, hey, hey

I sat here starin' at the same old wall
Came back to life just when I got your call
I wished I could climb right through the telephone line
And give you what you want so you will still be mine, hey, hey

I can't go cheatin', honey, I can't play
I found it very hard to stay away
As we reminisce on precious moments like this
I'm glad we're back together 'cause I missed your kiss, hey, hey

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Ba-a-a-by

Lover, lover, this is solid love
And you're exactly what I'm dreamin' of
All through the day
And all through the night
I'll give you all the love I have with all my might, hey, hey

lol, thanks! i'll have to post up some pics of the first Maxx i owned (which i think was the newer "version"). this Maxx is very blue compared to my previous one, and the Ti handles seem smoother, whereas the other had matte-finish, more rough handles. i like this one a lot more.

the handles are also significantly thicker on this version, which i also like. it seems to me i read about that in the archives... something about them making thinner or thicker handles as time went on.

The first run of these knives had handles with a thickness of .150", while the latter runs have a thickness of .120"...........at least I think this is how it goes!

thanks for the info, art!

back with some pics of my old Maxx... notice how it's not very "blue":

Oh, btw Abe, I have been reunited with a Hinderer Firetac Extreme spearpoint I sold many moons ago. It came home today and Poppa is HAPPY! :D :D :D

Sweeeet peice of cuttlery Abe and a beaut love story. Creates a new slant on the saying " I'm a lover, not a fighter".
Posts like this always give me the twinge to assault my credit cards.

man... isn't it just the best feeling? i'd slap my forehead if i wasn't so busy screwing around with my repeat acquisition.

The bluer color is really nice. I guess even the old ones had the grey blade. I thought I've seen a high polish blade on the MAXX before.
i don't know about gray; most folks call it "satin finish", but i suppose i can see what you're saying. a mirror polish would be tops! the etching on mine seems prety deep -- maybe it'd survive the polishing.
