Congrats to WinMagHOG for solving this tricky riddle. . .
I actually thought that it would be solved before I started posting the final countdown clues!
This one has set a record for taking the longest to solve!!!
I'm getting better!!!
Look for some more of these in the future.
I hope you all had fun!
We now give the cloven hoof salute to WinMagHoG for bringing home the bacon!!!!!
Here is his winning post along with my explanation as to how the code worked.
The next model out is the Basic Eight LE
I hid the words "BASIC EIGHT" in successive order by skipping to a new word with every letter and skipping the position of the word to coincide with its place in the original word.
So the B in Basic was the first letter in "Brother" and the A was the second letter in "said" and the "S" was the third letter in "fast" . . . and so on. . . .
Once you put the first 2 or 3 letters together. . . it becomes very obvious what the pattern is.
Congrats WinMagHOG!!!
You done well,
Jerry

Although he loves the 1/4 mile runs, my brother said fast sprints, coincidentally, like the big 1/8 mile dashes are not his favorite.
When asked about their overwhelming popularity, he did agree that nearly every time, big dashes bolster attendance and help to keep the sport alive.
BASIC EIGHT is the ANSWER
