We Have Photos Again!!!

They just changed their policy under new management. All pics restored for now, and the "hotlinking enabled" membership is now $20/year :).

about time.

realize its a business to make money, but their poor warning time and hammer down was over the top.

There there!! ITE's lots on the first page! I'm going to spend some time in looking on that thread before there gone..

I will never go back to them. Ever.

But I will go check out some old threads.

I'm up to December 2013 and I'm seeing knives I didn't know existed..The next few days I'll be looking at old SPS threads for 112's I missed and the pictures disappeared.
I hope it stays for awhile . Twenty bucks a year is worth it..

I had over 1600 images on this forum stored there. I deleted my account. I guess now I wish I had left the images there. Too many to rebuild now.

I just checked over at pbucket.... the $399 hosting plan is still listed...???

I'm going to visit the stag and ivory thread !

Yes, that's a thread that was severely hurt by Photobucket, but it looks like most photos are back.

This was one of the threads I was sorry to lose because of the detailed information through the pictures (but it's back now);

There are tons of other threads that can now be researched too....and on all sites.

Sorry to hear that Roger. Your photos really contributed to almost every thread you posted in.

I probably would have changed my account there, but they locked mine and I couldn't get into it.

Photobucket didn't make any money off me with my stored photos because they offered the free account and I used that.
They did make money off me when I ordered enlarged photos and I had calendars made up.

Fortunately i took advantage of the 99 cent monthly payment back then. It kept my photos and i still had access.

My old forum photos are back. I guess I'll try to log in. $20/year seems reasonable. I find Imgur painful to use. I never used Photobucket as storage, only to share pictures on forums.

I wish I could like that BG42 112 two or more times! This is a perfect example of rarely seen Bucks..Only 100 or so blades made and even pictures are rare. Very nice Dale !

I opened a FotoTime account but have only saved PhotoBucket photos and not moved all to that website. Not promoting the site as it is a little more expensive than the price quoted above. But, with them restored we can promote going back and doing Buck Forum searches for photos and writings. I do not know how I will resolve this issue. 300

Just curious, why are you paying to store your photos on another website? Is it to save space on your computer or because ya'll just have phones. Just curious?

My computer was attacked by a virus from Photobucket's website immediately after posting the above pic.
Use at your own risk!!!
