Hello everyone,

My name is Al and I've seen a lot of these forums the past seven years, seems like I know most of you already. And I bet most of you have seen some of my work even though I just joined? I'm the guy that does ALL of Todd Davison's photos and web site for his knives.
A few years back I made some custom sheaths for some of Todd's folders. And now I'm going to make a some for sale here on this great community called BladeForums.com
And one of the first things I wanted to do joining is give back a little to you nice folks - and say thanks for all the stories, photos and knowledge shared here by you, cause I sure have enjoyed lurking here under Todd's account. Well I thought it was time to step out from behind the curtain, kind of like the Wizard on Wizard of Oz when he gets exposed by Toto...... So here I am, the original BigAl2me - :D:rolleyes:

On with the give away---

I ask the mods here for the OK to do this and both gave me the thumbs up. I do appreciate it.

Who can enter? ----- Anyone & everyone. Your post number is your entry.
Rules? - There are no rules. Just say "I'm IN!"
How long does it go on? - How about 7 days. till... 9 - 26 - 2012 Wed. 7 PM Central time.
What do you get if you win? -- One of three Custom Hand Made Pocket Knife Sheaths.
YOUR CHOICE - of color (Tan or Black) What size of knife you want it to fit? And Belt carry or pocket carry? And tooled leather or plain?

The sheaths will be like the one shown here. And don't worry about the man purse waiver.:foot:
All I ask is for a little feed back on the sheath from the winners. Thanks!

I think that about covers it? Good luck!

Al

Al, Can i first say to you...WELCOME to our small part of the world here, Traditionals here is a very fine group ( most probably excluding myself ) of people, never before have I felt as welcome and part of the Traditional family as I do here.
And I would love to enter-because WOW...they look just fantastic..Im in!, it would be a pleasure to wear one of those beauties with my specially chosen knife on the day of my marriage.
By the way...whats that knife peeking out just out of interest?
Thank you for the opportunity Al.

I agree, welcome to the forum from a fellow Kansas member. :) You can count me in this give away, thanks for the chance.

Duncan,

The knife in the sheath is my T.A. DAVISON #828 - I'll add a better photo of it later.
Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Al

Thank you for the opportunity Al, please count me in for your giveaway. Your sheaths look terrific

Before I found Bladeforums I regularly carried either a SAK SuperChamp or Case Camper w/pliers in a belt sheath as they were a bit too big to haul around in my pocket. Now that I've rediscovered the world of slipjoint knives I usually drop one in my pocket but still like to have a folder on my belt, especially when out on Scouting events. The two sheaths I usually use are getting a little beat up around the edges, one of your sheaths would be perfect for my heavier knives.

While I'm still a relative newbie here, welcome to the friendliest forum I've ever had the pleasure to join! The members here are great and have helped me many times which I sincerely appreciate.

Cheers,
Griff

Beautiful sheaths! And great photography. You have wonderful talent.
Please count me in.

Thanks so much!

Beautiful work, Al! Thanks so much for the chance to win; I'm in! From another newbie (though I'm truly a newb) welcome!

I am in sir. Fabulous work. I would love to get in to leatherworking, but I already am trying my hand at slipjoint making, and don't need another difficult hobby. :D

Welcome to our little slice of paradise. Grab a seat, a stick, and commence to whit'lin'.
