Hey guys,
first of all please forgive any spelling mistakes or weird grammar, English is not my native language. Now I don' t usually do reviews but this knife is so spectacular, that I just have to share it with you guys. There are also not too many reviews on it out there so I hope I can add to the popularity of the brand this way.
We Knife is a Chinese brand who have not been in the business for very long yet. As far as I know they actually started of as a manufacturer for other brands before eventually making their own original designs.
They currently have four folding knives out: the 601, 602, 603 and the 604, all in different color or blade variations.
More have already been announced on their social media platforms.
Now I only received this knife yesterday so this may be more of a first impressions review, I hope to add more details soon.
Overall Length: 8.75"
Blade Length: 3.875"
Weight: 4.4 oz.
Pricing seems to be around 300$ for you American guys.
The Knife

Long, slender and light weight, the knife' s immediately most striking feature is the handle scales. I have never seen anything quite like this. The titanium is intricately milled to something that resembles a dragon skin to me. Aside from the custom pivot screw the show side has no visible screws, this simplicity creates an important contrast to the already quite busy milling. The knife is held together only by the pivot and the clip screw.
Also the handle is nicely rounded, no sharp corners anywhere. It almost feels like a Katana handle, extremely comfortable.

Another nice touch is the way the lanyard attachment was done.
As you can see the handle scales meet in the middle, creating the look of an integral. The groove in the middle nicely hides the seam between the scales.
The clip is milled titanium and very thin and discrete with just the right tension for me. However it can be a little difficult to fit over thick pocket material.

Yes, it has proprietary hardware but it ships with the right tool to adjust it. I personally really like the star shape of the screws. It' s different and the purple color gives an elegant looking color contrast.
The stainless steel lock insert also doubles as an overtravel stop.

The lock tab has nice milling done to it, making it easy to disengage. Lockup is about 25% out of the box if that is important to you.
It was a little sticky at first but that is pretty much gone now.
Can you see the milled out pocket in the lock tab in this photo? The entire inside of the handle is heavily skeletonized. At 4.4 oz. this knife feels incredibly light. Remember that we' re dealing with a nearly 4" blade here with full titanium handles
Notice how everything is comfortabley rounded here.

Lets talk about the blade now.
It comes out effortlessly with the comfortable and lightly jimped flipper tab. What I found quite interesting is the detent. Most modern flippers have very harsh detents, this one is more of a light-moderate and it works. Flipping action is perfect both light-switching and push button, no wrist action needed. The ball-bearing system makes the smoothness feel almost hydraulic yet it still nearly falls closed by the weight of the blade alone. Also it can be opened two-handed with the opening hole. Using the hole one-handed doesn' t work however, it' s too close to the handle and the corners are chamfered.
The blade comes in a nice two-tone finish, the flats have something like a rubbed satin finish, whereas the ground portions, the spine and the inside of the hole are blackened. Sorry, I don' t know what type of coating was used here.
Many manufacturers use their blades a something like billboards, heavily writing all kinds of stuff on it. This one is completely clean except for the subtle S35VN placed under the opening hole. The detent track is slightly visible unfortunately. No big deal if that is one of the only things you can critique.

The spine comes with some jimping, which is quite unnecessary. It doesn' t suit the clean lines of the knife, is rounded and ineffective. The handle alone already offers plenty of traction.

I think I have already established that this knife is extremely comfortable, here are some shots in hand. I have quite small hands by the way.

Here is a comparison shot with the CKF Morrf-4. Now I know this is a completely different knife but I sold off most of my knives a year ago. I don' t have too many anymore

Overall, this knife amazed me. It' s gorgeous. The fit and finish is exceptional. Action is super smooth.
As I said, this is more first impression than a detailed review. If you like it, I will add more in the next few days!
