Anyone have one yet? I tend to like Laconico designs and have been looking at this one recently. Looking for thoughts on the knife and the functionality of the front flipper.

I have the CF Esprit.
If you like Ray's designs, front-flippers and thumb studs, you'll be in heaven.

I just got one in today that I bought off of some one on Reddit.

It’s the full ti version and it’s really special. I love the simplistic design that Ray is know for. The blade stock is nice and thin, the ergos are fantastic, and the action is top notch.

Its got this “tool” like quality that is screaming to be used and I love it.

Damn looks like I am going to have to pick one up. For those with the CF does it have a bit of texture to it or more of the glossy type on a spyderco Kapara?

I've had mine for 2-3 weeks now. Marble CF version. Absolutely love it. Very smooth action, it's drop shut with a wiggle for me now with zero blade play. I find the studs are slightly more reliable to deploy than front flipping, as front flipping quickly requires a wrist. You can slow front flip easier than doing it quickly which is weird, at least for me. Personally, I think it's Laconico's best design. Blade stock is fairly thin and it's pretty thin behind the edge with a flat grind that extends 2/3 up the blade. All the standard features of a steel lockbar insert with overtravel stop and ceramic detent ball. Lockup around 15-20%. My carbon fibre is flawless and is just beautiful especially in the sunlight where it shines and shimmers at different angles. The clip is great, being countersunk into the scale plus flush fitting screws and as deep carry as one can expect. One of my favourite EDC in the current rotation when I want something a bit bigger than a Boose Blades Mini Smoke or the Civivi Bo.
