WE knives opinions

Hey guys, for some reason I love the WE designs alot. The feel in pocket is great. Just wondering if anyone has a vapor or wisp and how they like? Or what WE model you have. Thanks in advance.

This civivi elementum I have is cheap but can't beat it also. Again, something about the WE design that fits me right.

There are a lot of great WE designs! I have to say the Chimera is my favorite, of the WE knives that I own.

I've been happy with some of the Civivi knives. Given the quality of their budget brand, I'd expect the WE knives to be great. I just haven't been moved to try one. It's not really a cost issue, though that is an issue. (I'm wary of the curve of diminishing returns and their 9Cr18Mov is actually decent.) It's more of a design issue.

I don't like metal scales. I don't like frame locks. I don't like a lot of flair or complicated design aesthetics. I want basic knives with good action, comfortable ergonomics, decent steel, and relatively thin blades that slice well. The Naja and Ebony Baklash are still two of my favorite EDC folders.

For something a little higher end, the premium Elementum in S35VN and Micarta scales was right up my alley. I'd like to see more products like that moving forward.

I don't own any WE branded knives, but I do have the Brad Zinker Dogtooth and Ferrum Forge Dao from Drop. Both knives are made by WE and the build quality is sublime. I own CRKs, Hinderers, Microtechs, Koenigs, etc. and I often choose the Dogtooth or Dao over them for EDC.

Edit to add, I got one because I thought it was nice, and I have to say that in hand the Vapor gave me one of if not the best first impression I have ever had from a knife. The titanium is completely river-rock smooth, the lockbar feels strong but is again just smooth, the inlays lookgood but more importantly feel incredible, it's just an all around perfect regular carry knife. The stock is thin and the detent click is musical.
