Dude, that hen house is nicer than my house. J/K

Next I want to see some pics of the chickens eating some fox . . . ;):D:eek:

I wish I had pics, but I've seen Pidgeons eat Bum vomit with chunks of hot dogs in it in Washington D.C. :D

That's like feeding ham to a pot belly pig. Is it cruel? I say naw, just don't feed me human. :foot:

We used to feed the cows cheeseburgers. They loved 'em!

oh no, that's a recipe for some "mad chicken disease" :) the hannibal lecters of the avians has been found, nice research T. That's what it was for right....? :)

OMG...chicken cannibalism!!

Well, you know what they say..."meat is meat." :D Nice looking home-grown KFC there, T! ;)

Nice T! On your run, any issues with predators getting the hens? I just finished building one for my parents, I had to make it like fort Knox to keep hawks and raccoons and the whatnot out. ( that's right, chicken farming talk on a knife forum, so what?!)

All I can think of is the last line in "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover".

"Cannibal!"BLAM!!!!! Lol

Ok - anyone else ever SEE that movie. Gotta be 1989 or so. Lol

FFA and 4H kids feed their broiler chicks eggs....

lets see some pics of the whole setup with some busses thrown in

THanks guys. I am glad you enjoyed the pics.

Hey brother, I have had nothing get in through the electrified poultry fence. Its solar powered and can be moved almost anywhere. It ruined my dogs when I first put it up. They got nailed and wouldnt go near it after their first taste of electricity. I have no concerns with it. THe fence has been up since around middle of March. I have lost 20 Mallards that were out of the fence in two nights.

THe first time I got fed up with em being so nasty and put em on the pond a few weeks too early. I put 23 out and 13 were gone the next morning. I got the remaining 10 back in the pin and kept em another month until they were 76 days old and flying out and around my yard on a regular basis. I built em a floating island with pressure treated plywood and boat dock foam so they could stay away from predators and they didnt use it. That night 7 of the remaining 10 were eaten and the remaining three flew back into the run. I wanted mallards cause they are suppose to be self reliant, migrate etc. WHat I have learned about ducks is that without a mother to teach and protect them they are not capable of fending for themselves . I will fence the entire pond before I mess with more ducks.

I can tell you more at blade over a little VAn Winkle
