I know theres a handful of people that have older Machax's, soooooo could someone post some new videos or pictures of one these things in action!!!!! I'm sure everyone would LOVE to see this. Plus it would fuel the fire and get everyone even more pumped about them.

IS ANYONE WITH ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

actually, it's the sheaths. they're getting rid of all the mcshitty sheaths :)

Here you go. I used mine this morning for some yard work, which included limb clean-up and burning.
The Machax is a knife that I'm finally start to "get." I'm finding on the new model that the sweet spot rests just inside the inner curve of the blade.
I took a picture with the sweet spot embedded in a limb, and you can see the wear in the coating nicely in another shot.

Saweet!! Thats exactly what I plan on doing with mine. I have an evergreen that has a few dead limbs that need to come down and a stump that has a ton of little saplings comiing out of it that need some machax love too.

Those yeller liners on the Machax sure look nice, can't wait to get one, wish Ka-Bar wasn't lying when they said Feb. 1st:mad:
Hmmm.... I would have thought the sweet spot would be a little further up on the blade, but I've been wrong before.

they did not lie. that was an ESTIMATED ship date, assuming everything went perfectly. the blades, are ready (or certainly should be). the sheaths? they can't force a 3rd party to be on time. this is why companies don't like to provide ship dates when too many factors are being juggled. oh well D

i'm sure they'll make us happy long time. well, not you :) you're on the list now ;)

*scratches chin* What would I have to do to get my hands on one of those to do some work at the parent's house?
