We need more rustic wrapped blades

While I like the looks from afar on the rustic...I'll stick with the comfort of the regular handles as I use mine too much to trust "wraps"

I was skeptical too . . . Then I received this awesome little guy. It made me realize the value of the rustic wrap (although I do still favor the normal @Fiddleback awesome handles, I see the place for the rustics)

I too am fond of the wrap. What get's missed is that the jute (or is it hemp) is epoxy soaked so it's much more resilient than it would appear. I keep my EDC wrap out and find I reach for it a whole bunch.

I think a wrap over a low cost hardwood would be even better. It would be a bit fuller grip. However they are also nice as they are. Just havent seen any produced in a while and no dealers have any.

Or do a set of thin low cost hardwood scales and wrap to bring the overall thickness to a typical thickness?? (just thinking out loud)

Thanks what I’m thinking. Like the SET primitive models by Brian Sargent.
