WE Propack II Upgrade question

I was looking at the wicked edge website and trying to figure out what exactally comes with this kit. It states that the New micro-adjustable Ball Joint and Guide Rod Assemblies allow Micro-adjustments of +/- .05 degrees and Riser Block allowing for angles down to 13 degrees. Does this mean that the two bars that allow for the adjustments are also included with this kit? I can get the pro pack I THROUGH PROMOTIVE FOR 40% off so I was thinking about doing this. For my purposes, this kit would probably serve me just fine. I was just wondering if it would be worth the upgrade down the road at some point or if it would be better to just shell out the extra dough for the pro pack II right off the bat.

Here's what comes with the various kits from Wicked Edge...

You could purchase the Pro Pack I now, (which at 40% off might be a good idea), and if you later decide you want to upgrade, you can buy the upgrade parts separately. I think it's $120 to get the upgrade, (without the angle gauge and extra stones you get in the ProPack II). The upgrade does come with all the necessary parts to equal the Pro Pack II (extended base rod, riser, etc.)

So, if you got the Pro Pack I, it would be a good start, and you could decide later if you wanted to upgrade, and/or what additional stones, strops, etc. you might want.

I am thinking of getting this. I just can't decide between the Edge Pro Apex and the Wicked Edge. I read on here from one of my searches that pro motive members can get a 40% discount. I am a member due to my Air Force affiliation so I checked it out. Sure enough, 40%. This is the only reason I am leaning more toward the WE at this point instead of the EP. I hope I am not making the wrong decision though. I think I will just go with the pro pack I as it will serve all my current needs and then some. I might upgrade later if I find that I really like it a lot.

The knife brace option is only a memory if you use the Pro Pack 2 or PP2 upgrade kit.
The knife brace is too short and can't be used.

Although the diagram here suggests otherwise.
It might still be in the box, but it's too short now.

The upgrade kit is $145.00, not $120.00.
It went up $25.00 after after a last minute update to a longer crossbar.

You can head over to the WE forums for a look.
Clay will answer questions if he has time.
There is a Global Mod, (Curtis - cbwx34) there that is a personal friend of Clay's and very supportive of the product.

Not fair Chris! You know better than that mate. I have respect for your knowledge but this is beneath you. Temper, temper!

I was wondering who appoints Global Mods, because that would be a good job for me.

I only argue every third day or so, and I wouldn't boot anyone unless they use grossly improper grammar. Or spelling.

Those things tork Global Mods off.

Oh wait, you just mean Global knives, huh?

Dammit. I was ready to make global changes...

lol :D

You're right Leo. I got stars in my eyes for a minute.

I can't be a Global Mod. I'm stuck with only a poor English vocabulary. I'd be giving people the boot for complimenting me in a foreign language. Dammit.

Leo, there is a legend at the bottom on the site that shows moderator levels.
Purple is global, blue is moderator.
He is purple.

Of course you are a global moderator also.
I must add, a moderator that I respect a great deal.
