I ordered my first ESEE knives today after high praise from many. I went with an RC4 and will be putting it through the paces after I receive it. Great price and it comes with a sheath and no waiting:thumbup: !! I must say that this is kind of a strange place with guys running around in panties:barf:- but I will endure that ( YUK) and keep checking other posts:thumbup:. Nice group over here I must say-Thanks:)

The 4 is a great knife. You won't regret your choice, but you very likely will decide that you "need" another ESEE to "round out" your knife requirements. :)
 
I love my RC-3, and it is lashed to the hip belt of my pack almost every time I go into the woods. 1095, when properly heat treated, is a just plain awesome steel, and Rowan NAILS the heat treat on these things. One of my most used knives.


Of course, I've heard that someone was saying that the only time I use my knives is in my back yard, so what would I know? :rolleyes:

I got my 4 yesterday and quickly installed the molle back sheath on my new Maxpedition Vulture II backpack. The the RC-4 just reeks quality (it's not the only thing that reeks in this subforum, read: panties) like the Izula I recieved last week. Amazing company and amazing products.

Nothing like a new knife to make you look for things to cut!
