WE Shuddan pivot turns

I was adjusting the pivot tension on my Shuddan last night and found that the pivot emblem on the show side turned with the pivot screw after I loosened it a bit. I didn’t have time to really mess around with it, but that caused me some concern. The pivot emblem only rotated with the pivot screw after being loosened some, and stopped once I got to a certain tightness. Is this not a captive pivot? If not I’m a little hesitant to take it completely apart. I am comfortable working on my knives to an extent, but I REALLY don’t want to mess up my Shuddan. It’s one of my best knives.
 
Normal. They ARE captive pivots, but you need to keep pressure on them as you’re tightening them to keep them seated in their slot. CIVIVIs are the same way.
