We was always naked, day and night, whenever the mosquitoes would let us—the new clothes Buck's folks made for me was too good to be comfortable, and besides I didn't go much on clothes, nohow.
-Huck Finn

I finally got around to trying out the Huck Fin. It was raining, muddy and didn't last long. Sorry no pics. Headed back up to the house and my buddy showed me how to etch with saltwater and 9v batteries. Wow, I've been missing out. So easy and I'll definitely be doing it that way from now on.

I got her stripped late Sunday night after the rainy weekend of shooting and hanging with great friends. I lucked out for sure. No grinder gremlin marks at all. I was happy. I think this knife had the heaviest decarb I've seen on a stripper. It took some serious work with the ScotchBrite wheel.

Now all she needs is sharpened and another try out this weekend.

That looks great! My HUCK also had some RIDICULOUS decarb on it as well.

That is a Mighty Fine Looking piece of INFI right there!!

Style-wise, I think this is one of my favorite BUSSE models. :D

The CBT are so wave-like and graceful on this blade...and when you match that with the fin...it combines for a nice ocean vibe...really zen. :)

Once again...BUSSE COMBAT has managed to design a blade unlike anything else currently crafted or ever made before by anyone!

That looks great sir ! Your etch is awesomely deep; I like it a lot! I was wondering, is the fin sharpened also?

That really surprised me to be honest. I never expected to see the CNC being used to put the bevel on it. Interesting. CBT on CBT....hmmm. I am curious about performance and the thought on this. Do you think it adds strength to the knife itself. I honestly never really seen this on other knives and of course its just about impossible to do something like this on my 2 x72. I might try this myself on my little CNC. It should only take me a couple of years to do the programming lol. Love to know the performance on this once you start cutting away. I passed on this one, now I am thinking about getting one from the exchange. Really like the looks of it.
