We won the "A" league San Francisco dart association semi finals.

I won the final game with an odd 56 out, triple 16, to leave 8; and then a single 4, to leave 4; and then a double 2 to win all the marbles.

I played like crap but we won.... I have a great team.:D

Congrats to your team for carrying you to the win! :D

ah, a smooth bolt Mean Street....

Good throwing Tony!! Those new ADs are sweet but your Meaner shot makes me dizzy!!!

So when are the finals, Tony? Nice throwing, BTW.

Congrats Tony! Great Throwing!

I remember winning my first Championship and leauge MVP. Our team didn't loose a 301 or 501 for 2 years. Then after making the Master's list I wasn't allowed to play league 301. We went on to win 6 straight leagues in Cricket. I never got out of the round of 8 in singles Cricket the State Championship. The last year I went down I was barely beat in that round by the State champ.

Sliced my Thumb in 95 and lost all feeling in tip where dart rolls off. I lost 2 matches the next season and quit.

Just a couple throphies and a few patches. Most of those 301 MVP patches are for cricket. They had no cricket patches.

nice tony! have they made the target bigger since "98"? i played a lil back then... that was when blowguns were legal.

Very cool, Kenny. Sorry you hurt the thumb. Have you regained any sensation or tried to throw lately? Nerves heal slowly, but they can heal.

Nope, still just a hard numb spot. It hurt my game so much I just quit. I still play a few times a year for fun, but just get angry now. I still do Ok, but nothing like before.

Bad thing is it was one of those cheap ass Airweight Berreta's with the lock on the back, was opening and closing with one hand when I did it:o
Gave the dang thing away the next day, it was just a thin razor blade with a handle.
Cut myself many times while a meatcutter, but none were as bad as with that little bastid.

Congratulations to Tony G! :D:thumbup:

And thanks for the excellent if gratuitous Busse content.

WOW Ken can play!!!

I was never that good at darts, I'm just OK. If I play the very best players in this area I might win 3 games out of ten but I would have a shot to win every game. Say they had less that 60 left.... I'd have a chance at a 2-3 dart out to win.

edit: I just saw that perfect 301 game!!! I just missed one last season 146 on, then T20, T19 and missed the D19.

I have been kicking myself for not getting another one at Blade this year. But although the ones there were all nice I just didn't see one that "talked" to me.:o

I can empathize a little. Part of the left side of my head still has numbness where I got clocked by a softball. Hit me so hard it made my nose bleed. Fortunately, I don't have to use my head for much of anything.

Knowing little about darts, I have to ask: is the "6 Dart Out" patch the perfect game?

Tony must have bought himself some new darts... BTW there in the mail, I think???:D

Good throwing!!

Dang man, I've been hit in the head hard but never heard of anyone getting hit so hard in the head it made there nose bleed:eek:

I do know how the softball/baseball feels. The scar on my lip is from getting hit while pitching in high school, also got knocked out by a softball to the forehead while playing shortstop in league play...it was a crushed worm burner that hit a rock right in front of glove.

Yes, the 6 dart out is a perfect game in 301. Had two that season but you only get one patch for season no matter what it is.

I came close to a perfect game in Cricket many times but only had one(out in 9 darts). Most will score on you, causing you to need points, no way to go out in 9 then, so they are much more rare.

Put a wobble in my step for about a week (vertigo). Ump stopped the game and highly recommended an x-ray for me. I got popped in the mouth as well during high school baseball practice. I wasn't looking when the shortstop threw a hard one to first. I was actually looking at a girl over in the bleachers. :p
