when out with #1 self-defense choice strong side 1911, hk,sig s&w etc do you usually carry knife
a)weak side only
b)stong side only
c)1 stong,1 weak
d)knife fanatic 1 in every pocket
also just curious what combo
s&w 3913 with bm 940
kimber 1911 with mini comm
hk uspc 40 with bm 940,spyderco native

I'm left handed. I carry my Al Mar SERE 2000 in my left front pocket (set-up for "lefty carry"), and my stainless plain-edge Spyderco Delica in my right front pocket. The SERE is my "defensive/offensive" folder, and the Delica is my "utility" folder, so the SERE doesn't see much use (and I'd like to keep it that way).

When I'm not packing a (Glock) pistol, I carry my Cold Steel Vaquero Grande, IWB, on my left side.

I'm righty. Sebenza, mini-Scimitar, or DMKnives Instigator 2 in right pocket. Rarely a Cuda Maxx sometimes, too.
Left side belt, horizontal reverse-draw rig for a Busse Assault Shaker. At night, a Surefire E2e with the G&G impact attachment, too.
When my Hideaway Knife gets here, I'll have that somewhere too.

fully ambi. natural left, right dominant.

usual edc carry(spyderco unless otherwise listed):
left/front: frn/se/ats-55 endura(98 model), wallet

right/front: spydie military 440v/ce(02 model), calypso jr lt pe(vg-10/pe, 01 model), or dragonfly ss/pe(01 model, when it's not on neck carry). only 1 clipped. add zippo and single blade lambsfoot slipjoint (3" blade).

left/hip: fb03 in normark rig, rear cant(edge back, tip down)

right/hip: LM Crunch w/ se blade, light source

neck: ss/pe 'fly in normark rig

only thing I can't reach with both hands is the zippo and slipjoint.

I have either a BM 31 or Spyderco Lil' Temperance in my right front pocket. I always have a Spyderco Ayoob for my lefty carry. On my right hip is either a baby Glock or a 4" fixed blade that gets rotated a little bit. I don't like to play with things too much, KISS works for me.

At a minimum, I always have one folder in my front right pocket, and one in my rear left pocket. That way, I have a knife at hand with either hand.
