I did check there it deals mostly with concealed carry I am just interested in the law dealing with transport in a vehicle.the closest I can find is thisCheck here... http://www.handgunlaw.us/
IIRC, a few years ago, David Brown had his vehicle broken into while at Blade and had several knives stolen. Is it worth it to leave a gun in an unattended vehicle at such a large event?
If you will notice on the reciprocity map on the link above, Georgia does not honor a permit from South Carolina.... So I would say be VERY careful with what you "carry" in Georgia.
Just my 2-cents worth.... YMMV!!
The only problem with that is the public gathering law in GA that says you can't carry at public gatherings. If I was driving I would carry too but I would carry in the Cobb as well. I would not leave anything in the car ever again.
I asked there and at Georgiapacking.org and did not get a definitive answer so I thought I would try here.Post the same question on defensivecarry.com, you will get numerous answers.
Can you give me a link so I can print it out.Its legal in GA to keep it in glove box, or console without a permit. It can be loaded.
Thats what the recent NRA papers on the GA law say. I made copies and gave to a couple of friends that doesn't have a permit so they could keep it with gun.
