Hi, i just got mine Sog Vision a week ago. i only wear it for 1 day. today, i take it out, and found heavy wear mark on the end of the handle!!!

real heavy, easy to notice the satin finish is been smuged......Heart broken :( cuz i can see the metal. I think is due to jeans fifth pocket, their edge always got those metal buckle......:thumbdn:

Is there any thing i can do to help? or get rid of the wear mark?

only thing i am sure that i don't have another $150 to spend on vision again.

Well, heck, if you're going to carry it, it's going to get some wear marks. I kind of prize the stains and scratches on my blades; they each carry a memory.

I suppose you could strip the handle and refinish it somehow. The first scratch is always the hardest, unfortunately....but once you get over it, you're not afraid to use it like it's meant to be. I generally only buy knives I can afford to go and buy a second one right away, not because I'd actually do it, just for the mental stability of knowing that my ONE special knife isn't ruined, I could hypothetically have another perfect one in a week. But then I get over it and just abuse the heck out of the knife, which is why I bought it.

My jeans fifth pockets don't mess with any of my EDCs. I do have to watch out when I wear a belt though, or it'll rub the top of it, so I switch to my tiny Urban Shark which I abuse the heck out of anyway.

You can try rear pocket carry and see if that's any better. I RPC all my knives when I'm in khakis/slacks.

If it's the black Vision, you might even try covering it up with a good marker. I have no idea if this would actually work or stay on.
